The Hope Project was established in 1997 by a group of people that saw a huge need in the rural areas surrounding our community.
The Hope Project has a track record of feeding the destitute and impoverished children and families over the past 11 years.
Cooked meals are delivered daily to 1000 children each day and food parcels are also distributed to families in need on a weekly and monthly basis.
The Hope Project envisages for the future, the establishment of soup kitchens at each of the 10 distribution points that we currently deliver food to. This will allow each kitchen to prepare food for 1000 children twice daily, thus feeding 10 000 children twice every day.
Initially we have to upgrade our current kitchen equipment and facilities which have been in use for the past 11 years and have become unreliable causing people who rely on this plate of food we provide daily, to go hungry.
